Note: Bilal Hammoud has transitioned from the institute (alumni).
I am a PhD student in the Movement Generation and Control Group working under the supervision of Prof. Ludovic Righetti. My main research interests focus on using robust and optimal control techniques to solve contact interaction problems in whole-body control and grasping for humanoids. Prior to joining the Autonomous Motion Department I received my Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, where I worked on motion planning and optimal control of autonomous agents.
